Con-Form identified a need for a compact soil treatment unit so 4 years ago the first Eco-Warrior® was developed and started to change the mind set of companies with contamination, unsuitable geotechnical material, stockpiles of site arising and little space to treat them.
With the recent implementation of site wastes management plans the Eco-Warrior® can reduce dramatically the requirement to remove materials from site reducing many aspects of environmental impact.
The Eco-Warrior® is a mobile batch plant suitable for mixing soil with binders to form environmentally and geotechnical improved material. The main benefits of the Eco-Warrior® are its portability, ease of use and versatility. Designed to be used on sites where space may be limited, the Eco-Warrior® has the ability to be set up next to stockpiled material and batch process the material for reuse.
Applications for Eco-Warrior®
A large percentage of Eco-Warrior® work is within the remediation market where the machine can be used to remediate materials using the Quick-Bio® method - a physio-chemical system for both geotechnical improvement, enabling re-use as structural fill and also for environmental improvement whereby contaminant levels within the material can be reduced to meet site re-use or disposal criteria.
The ECO-WARRIOR is able to treat a range of contaminates such as TPH and PAH through the reaction of specialist powders along with the physical process that the contaminated soil goes through within the machine.
Typical contaminate levels that have been treated include TPH @ >20,000 mg/kg producing recorded levels of <10 mg/kg after treatment in 2 days.
